Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of Tereniva, a British Columbia, Canada sole proprietorship.

1. Who you are contracting with

Tereniva is the business name of Allison F. Clarke, a sole proprietor in British Columbia, Canada("we", "us"). You are contracting with Allison F. Clarke, carrying on business as Tereniva. By creating an account, purchasing, or continuing to use the app you agree to these terms. If you are usingTereniva on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it. If you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your country.

2. What Tereniva is

Tereniva is a travel preparation and packing assistant. It generates personalised packing guidance from the profile and trip details you provide, using live weather forecasts where your dates allow, historical climate averages where they do not, and destination reference data.

Suggestions are suggestions. You remain responsible for airline, customs, visa and health requirements. Health-related reminders are organisational only and are never medical advice. We never assert that a destination, hotel or venue is accessible — we help you prepare and prompt you to verify.

3. Your account

You must give accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.

4. Licence and restrictions

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Tereniva for your personal travel planning within the plan you have purchased. You may not reverse engineer, resell, redistribute or circumvent technical limits of the service.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service. In particular, you must not:

  • use it for any unlawful purpose, or for fraud or spam;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • interfere with its security — no malware, probing, scraping, or unauthorised access attempts.

6. Intellectual property

We retain ownership of Tereniva, including its software, packing logic, destination data, documentation and branding. Your trips, preferences and notes remain yours; you grant us only the limited licence needed to store and process them so the service can work.

7. Service level and warranties

We work hard to keep Tereniva available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Payment, billing and refunds

Tereniva Forever is a one-time purchase: nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. Tereniva Annual is a yearly subscription that renews automatically at the then-current annual price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the year you have already paid for, and cancelling does not by itself trigger a refund.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Our own Refund Policy gives you a 30-day money-back guarantee. Where a purchase is refunded or charged back, the associated access to paid features ends.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from your account page. On termination you can export your data; after deletion it is removed from our systems, except records we must retain for tax and accounting purposes.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We exclude indirect, consequential and special damages, including lost profits, data or goodwill. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

11. General

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and its courts have jurisdiction. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours in a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app.
